Tree Aid has been selected as the Frontiers and Horizons in Ecology conference charity.
Tree Aid’s mission is to enable people living in the drylands of Africa to unlock the potential of trees to reduce poverty and protect the environment. They work with locally-based teams in the drylands of Burkina Faso, Ghana, Mali and Niger and the isolated areas of Ethiopia, working with communities to build skills, knowledge and self-reliance.
Tree Aid has planted over 15 million trees and plans to grow a further 8 million by 2022, taking 2.5 million people out of poverty and restoring 250,000 hectares of degraded land.
